There is a rental studio for cosplayers in Kasaoka City.
Pan-nu studio is available for complete rental of an entire building. You can freely shoot in four floors with different atmospheres.

The studio is operated by a photographer, Pan-nu, who has traveled around Japan by bicycle over three and a half years.

Pan-nu became a photographer as a result of this journey around Japan.
We will introduce Pan-nu studio and Pan-nu's way of life and thoughts.
The information provided is from an article published in November 2021. Please note that it may differ from current information.
This is what Pan-nu studio is like
Pan-nu studio is located along National Route 2 in Kasaoka City.
It is situated exactly halfway between Kasaoka Station and the Kasaoka Port Passenger Terminal "Minato-Kobanashi".

It was opened in April 2018 by photographer Pan-nu.
In addition to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, the rooftop area is also open as a shooting space, and each floor has a completely different atmosphere.
| Floor | Content |
|---|---|
| 2nd Floor | Brick Wall Floor |
| 3rd Floor | White Room Floor |
| 4th Floor | Abandoned Building Floor |
| Rooftop | Rooftop |
Let's introduce each floor.
2nd Floor Brick Wall Floor
As soon as you enter, the 2nd floor is the Brick Wall Floor.

The real textured brick wall and warm wooden flooring are not wallpaper.
Shooting props and dried flowers are arranged, and the furniture has an antique style. A beautiful space spreads out.

It has a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay forever.
With large windows, you can take beautiful photos with natural light. In the evening, the direction of the light seems particularly good.
The taste of the props and furniture is unified, making it easy to take atmospheric photos right away.

Each floor has a ceiling that can be suspended, allowing for even more freedom in arranging props for shooting.

The shooting space is approximately 3.35 meters × 6.5 meters.
3rd Floor White Room
The 3rd floor features a completely white space.
A 3-meter wide "white hori" is installed, allowing for shooting against a white background.

"White hori" is a shooting term, short for white horizon.
By connecting the boundary between the floor and wall with a curve, shadows are less likely to appear at the boundary between the subject and the floor, allowing for simple photos that make the subject look like it is floating.

You can shoot in a space of approximately 3.7 meters × 6 meters.

The white hori is also self-made. I challenged myself based on my past experience as a formwork carpenter.
4th Floor Abandoned Building
In stark contrast to the bright 3rd floor, the 4th floor features a dimly lit space reminiscent of ruins.

It is a raw space that has been dismantled realistically.

The shabby walls and ceiling, drums, and boards covering the windows create a unique atmosphere.
The shooting space is approximately 5.4 meters × 4.6 meters.
From the 4th floor up, you will enter with shoes on. There is no air conditioning.
Rooftop
Climbing the stairs from the 4th floor, you reach the rooftop.

You can overlook Kasaoka Port Passenger Terminal "Minato-Kobanashi" and Kasaoka Station!
Cars continuously pass along National Route 2.

Not only during the day, but you can also take atmospheric photos at night with the lights of the town.
In addition to each floor, it is also okay to shoot on the stairs and other areas.

You can also bring food, so it can be used not only for shooting but also for small parties.
Since the entire building can be rented, it seems possible to enjoy various activities with family and friends.
On weekdays, there is also a plan where Pan-nu will take photos for cosplayers (optional fee starting from 5,000 yen for 3 hours).

Additionally, in the "Pan-nu Location Shooting Tour Plan," you can go to a shooting location with Pan-nu and have your photos taken.
After discussing the atmosphere via Zoom, you can have a location shoot for up to 10 hours, including travel.
The fee varies depending on the number of participants, but for example, if four people participate, it would be 15,000 yen per person.

The brick wall and flooring were done by myself. It is a space with a focus on texture.
