One day, while I was thinking about wanting to take a profile picture and repeatedly searching the internet, I found "Hokkori CLIP" and thought, "Wow, there's a really nice studio so close!"
I compared websites from Kurashiki, Okayama, and even neighboring prefectures, and found the design to be friendly, the explanations easy to understand, and the pricing reassuring. Everything was exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to inquire right away.
The author, who has always been uncomfortable being photographed, had avoided "profile pictures" for many years, but after bravely knocking on the door and facing the shoot, I was able to step forward, liberated from unnecessary feelings of inferiority and tension.

Photo Studio Hokkori CLIP
Hokkori CLIP is a photography service established in December 2020 by the representative photographer Hori Keiko (from Kurashiki City).
Hori-san has 14 years of experience in various types of photography, including family photos and commemorative photos, at a local photo shop. After that, she became independent due to several events, including the outbreak of COVID-19.
Initially, she focused on on-location photography, but opened her own studio in April 2023.
With the establishment of the studio, the range of photography has expanded further, allowing her to cater to various needs such as family photos, profile shoots, and Shichi-Go-San (a traditional Japanese celebration for children).
Her recognition has gradually spread, and it seems that more people are visiting not only from the local area but also from afar.
A studio in a prime location that catches everyone's eye at the intersection
It is about a 10-minute drive from JR Kurashiki Station. It is also close to the Kurashiki City Office and is easily accessible by bicycle or on foot from the center of Kurashiki.
Being located at an intersection gives it excellent visibility.
Even without a large sign, it naturally catches the eye of passersby, and the shop itself exists like a landmark.
For users, it is a clear and easy-to-find location, and for those running a business, it must be an enviable location.

For on-location photography, Hori-san travels to the desired location, such as your home or outdoors, to take photos.
