The Haretoco General Incorporated Association (Location: Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, Representative Director: Toi Kengo) concluded an agreement with the Kurashiki City Social Welfare Council (hereinafter referred to as Kurashiki City Shakyō) on March 26, 2026, regarding the "Agreement on Information Dissemination for Disaster Victim Support."
This agreement establishes a necessary cooperation system to ensure that volunteer recruitment and disaster victim support information disseminated by Kurashiki City Shakyō during disasters can be delivered to citizens more quickly and effectively, with our organization providing operational support through social media and other means.
Purpose and Main Contents of the Agreement
This agreement stipulates the necessary cooperation system to facilitate information dissemination using social media and other means both inside and outside the disaster area.

We will support information dissemination via social media and other means directed towards both inside and outside the disaster area based on requests from Kurashiki City Shakyō. - Strengthening Collaboration from Normal Times
To ensure smooth operations during disasters, we will engage in information exchange regularly and build a strong cooperation system.
Message from Representative Director Toi Kengo
The origin of our activities lies in the "Kurashiki City Disaster Volunteer Center" established during the heavy rains in July 2018. At that time, I keenly felt the importance of information dissemination in disaster support, which led to the birth of the local media "Kurashiki Tocotoco" and the Haretoco General Incorporated Association.
Since our establishment, we have set the goal of "disseminating the charm of tourism and living during normal times, and becoming an information infrastructure to support the community during emergencies." Nearly eight years have passed since the disaster, and I feel that we have finally established a system within the organization to fulfill that role, which is why I consulted with Kurashiki City Shakyō about this agreement.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to Kurashiki City Shakyō for their understanding of our activities and their utmost consideration. We will work together as an organization to ensure that necessary information reaches disaster victims and volunteers accurately and promptly.
