How about finding a new favorite spot during a casual drive on your day off or while going out every day?

A stamp rally called Kurashiki Ikasa Digital Stamp Rally 2026 is being held in five cities and towns located in the southwestern part of Okayama Prefecture (Kasaoka City, Ibara City, Asakuchi City, Satosho Town, and Yakage Town) until October 31, 2026.

You can participate using your smartphone, and you can apply with just three stamps, making it easy to take on the challenge.

We will introduce the participation method and attractions of the event, as well as experiences visiting three spots, along with comments from Mr. Tanabe of the Ibara-Kasaoka Wide Area Tourism Association, the event organizer.

What is the Kurashiki Ikasa Digital Stamp Rally 2026

The Kurashiki Ikasa Digital Stamp Rally is a wide-area stamp rally organized by the Ibara-Kasaoka Wide Area Tourism Association, in collaboration with five cities and towns.

The event details are as follows.

There are over 150 target spots, but you do not need to visit them all. You can apply with just three spots.

As long as you have a smartphone, anyone can easily participate in the stamp rally.

How to Participate in the Kurashiki Ikasa Digital Stamp Rally 2026

First, access the dedicated page via the QR code on the flyer and answer a simple questionnaire to register as a user.

Then, visit the target spots.

At stores, you can earn stamps by scanning the QR code displayed at the storefront.

Additionally, at outdoor facilities such as parks, you can obtain stamps on the spot using your smartphone's GPS (location service) function.

Once you collect three or more stamps, you can choose and apply for prizes from the dedicated page.

The more cities and towns you visit, the higher your chances of winning, so it is recommended to collect stamps while going out to various places.

Prizes corresponding to the number of stamps, such as coupon tickets and local specialty products, will be awarded to a total of 315 people.

I Collected Three Stamps

This time, I aimed to collect three stamps by visiting one spot each in Kasaoka City, Satosho Town, and Asakuchi City, exploring the Ibara area.

Nifeedebil (Kasaoka City)

First, I headed to the Okinawan restaurant Nifeedebil, which opened in Kasaoka City in September 2025.

There is also a kids' space, so it seems safe for those with small children.

In the adjacent garage, there are rows of motorcycles, and it seems that many motorcycle enthusiasts visit.

The menu features Okinawan specialties such as soki soba, taco rice, and sea grapes.

I ordered soki soba. I could also choose pork bone broth, but this time I opted for bonito broth.

The tender soki melted in my mouth, and the soup was rich in flavor, making it delicious. I would love to come back again. I also had a pleasant conversation with the manager, and it was a good time.

When I paid, I scanned the QR code at the store to get my first stamp.

In this way, discovering new restaurants is one of the enjoyable points of this stamp rally.

Tsubaki no Oka Sports Park (Satosho Town)

Next, I headed to Tsubaki no Oka Sports Park in Satosho Town, which I often visit as a walking spot.

A spacious park that utilizes the rich green nature, featuring a playground that is very popular among children and a walking course.

Just around 3 PM, upon arriving at the park, I heard background music from the musician Fujii Kaze, who is from Satosho Town, playing in the park.

I have visited many times, but it was my first time hearing it, and I was moved. In outdoor facilities like this park, you obtain stamps using GPS functionality instead of QR codes.

I accessed the dedicated website on-site, tapped the target spot, and tapped the "Get Stamp" button, successfully obtaining the second stamp.

Yogashi Kobo Verger (Asakuchi City)

Finally, I visited Yogashi Kobo Verger located in Kankou-cho, Asakuchi City to buy souvenirs.

This is a long-established local confectionery shop that was founded in 1888 as a fruit shop.

Aiming to create "sweets that locals can be proud of," they manufacture and sell cakes and baked goods using plenty of fruits sourced directly from local farmers.

The representative product, Baumkuchen "SHUN BAUM," is a local sweet that is carefully baked to resemble the growth rings of a large tree.

The showcase is lined with colorful Western sweets such as cakes and éclairs.

There are many baked goods that are perfect as souvenirs from Asakuchi, so I often use this shop.

I purchased baked goods for souvenirs and scanned the QR code at the store to obtain the third stamp. This completed the requirements for applying for the prize.
