The cherry blossom season has passed, greenery is sprouting, and I feel the warmth of this time. I want to go out somewhere. I want to eat delicious food. I want to create lasting memories with my children.
While I was thinking about such things, I found an event called "Curry and Books" being held at Ario Kurashiki. I thought it was a perfect event for children who love to eat and for me, who loves books, so I decided to go right away.
Curry, books, sweets, and drinks! 53 stores from inside and outside the prefecture gather
The "Curry and Books" event is organized by "Saji", and this is the fourth time it has been held. The venue is Ario Kurashiki Outdoor Event Square and Kurashiki Mirai Park.
In addition to curry and book shops, there were also stalls for sweets, drinks, and miscellaneous goods. A total of 53 stores gathered from Okayama, Hiroshima, Hyogo, Kagawa, Ehime, and other areas inside and outside the prefecture.

When I arrived at the venue, the aroma of curry wafted from somewhere. The scent made my appetite stir.
I arrived just after the event started at around 10 AM, and there was already a line at the popular shops, which made me excited about the lively atmosphere.
The food area featured a variety of unique shops offering authentic Indian flavors, vegetable-rich dishes, and curries made with goat meat.
The book area was filled with a variety of genres of books, including carefully selected used books and picture books by the shop owners.
Visitors enjoyed looking for their favorite curry under the blue sky or browsing through books. Everyone seemed to be having a great time finding their favorites.
Two types of curry with a spice aroma from SATISFACTION CURRY&CAFE
First, I decided to eat curry to satisfy my hunger. The appeal of being able to enjoy two types of curry on one plate was irresistible, so I chose SATISFACTION CURRY&CAFE.
The aroma of spices was strong yet mellow. The spiciness was moderate, making it suitable for children and those who are not fond of spicy food to enjoy.

With many books lined up, visitors were picking up their favorite books. Perhaps some found their fateful book.
