The "Soja City Children's Cafeteria Charity Piano Concert" will be held on December 27, 2025 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM at Chuppi Hall inside Soja City Hall.

Admission is free and all seats are unreserved.
A donation box will be set up at the reception. All collected donations will be used to support the activities of the children's cafeterias in Soja City through the Soja City Children's Cafeteria Liaison Association of the Social Welfare Corporation Soja City Social Welfare Council.
Pianist Asuna Yamanaka
The performer for this concert, Asuna Yamanaka, has won numerous awards in domestic and international competitions and has also received the Okayama Prefectural Arts Encouragement Award as a pianist.
She has been recognized as a great talent by renowned pianists Klaus Schilde and Gabriel Tacchino, who have served as visiting professors at the Tokyo University of the Arts.
She has performed overseas in countries such as France, Italy, and Luxembourg, and has been invited to an Italian music festival for two consecutive years, garnering expectations for her elegant and refined musicality.
She has released two CDs to date and is currently focusing on guiding the next generation while continuing her performance activities.
About the Organizer
The organizer of this concert is Tetsuya Morikawa, the representative of the voluntary organization Kuuneru Asobu.
Mr. Morikawa holds the "Soja Cafeteria Kuuneru Asobu" event at the Soja City Central Community Center Soja Branch on the fourth or fifth Sunday of every month, which provides bento boxes and sharing bags, and creates opportunities for interaction between children and volunteers from the community.
There, they are working to create a gentle place for the community.

The Motivation Behind Organizing the Charity Piano Concert
What prompted the start of this charity piano concert?

I hold a children's cafeteria once a month with the cooperation of the local community in the Soja area.
Through that connection, there was a suggestion to create an opportunity for children to listen to real music, and I was introduced to pianist Yamanaka.
From there, with the cooperation of various people, we gradually moved towards making it a reality.
When I was introduced to someone who could help with the flyers, it turned out to be the person who created the logo for "Soja Shokudo Kuuneru Asobu."
It often happens that connections are made in unexpected places, and I felt that this must be a project worth pursuing.
I want to deliver real sounds to children
What kind of people do you want to attend?

I most hope that children will come.
If you look at the program, you'll see that this time it's quite a professional performance rather than aimed at children.
That's why I want children who are interested in music or those who want to hear a live performance at least once to come.
With their parents, or with their grandparents. I hope it will be a time for the whole family to experience real music together.
Listening to world-class classical music may lead to future interests and dreams. I sincerely hope that this concert will be a chance to slightly broaden the children's world.

In the gallery space next to the venue, we plan to exhibit panels introducing children's cafeterias in Soja City. I hope that people will learn a little about what activities are taking place in which areas and become interested.
The space is limited, but I intend to do my best to create a warm and handmade atmosphere.
