Following the torrential rains of July 2018, Kurashiki Tocotoco (shortened to Kuratoco) was launched. As we shared information about the Bikan Historical Area and Mabi, the number of people supporting Kurashiki Tocotoco gradually grew.
So, we have an announcement for you.
The first Kurashiki Tocotoco networking event will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Kamoi Restaurant in the Bikan Historical Area!
Titled “Discover the charms of the Bikan Historical Area in spring!”, we’ll look back at spots previously featured on Kuratoco using a map, then explore with participants some spots that Kuratoco has yet to introduce.
When we find a wonderful spot, you can introduce it by saying things like, “I’d love to see this featured on Kuratoco!” or “I’d like to introduce it!” This is an event where we’ll “build Kuratoco together.”
We hope this will be an opportunity for people who love the Bikan Historical Area from all kinds of fields—writers, bloggers, models, photographers, and more—to gather and learn even more about its charms. We hope you’ll join us.

What is Kurashiki Tocotoco (Kuratoco)?
Kurashiki Tocotoco (Kuratoco) is a web media outlet sharing information about tourist facilities and restaurants, mainly in the Bikan Historical Area, as well as updates on Mabi.
With the concept of “sharing what’s happening in Kurashiki today,” web writers and bloggers based mainly in Okayama and Kurashiki share the charms of Kurashiki.
Kuratoco has introduced many places in the Bikan Historical Area, but we wanted to learn more about its charms, so we planned an event where we can explore them together with you.

There is no parking lot attached to the restaurant.
There are many parking lots nearby, as the restaurant is in the Bikan Historical Area, but they are likely to be full. Please keep this in mind if you plan to come by car.
It’s about a 15-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, so we recommend using a parking lot near JR Kurashiki Station.
