Aeon Mall Kurashiki Courtyard Marche "Hanami" (held on March 27 and 28, 2021) ~ A gathering of cute goods and carefully crafted sweets.

It has become a warm season, and I'm excited about where to go today!

With thick coats and scarves no longer needed, I can go out easily.

On March 28, 2021, I went to the Courtyard Marche "Hanami" held at Aeon Mall Kurashiki, so I will report on my experience.

About the Courtyard Marche "Hanami"

The Courtyard Marche is an event where "things," "experiences," and "sounds" that enrich life gather in the courtyard of Aeon Mall Kurashiki.

There were shops selling miscellaneous goods, food, and workshops.

The theme for March was "Hanami," and it was a free admission event that everyone from children to adults could enjoy while experiencing the feeling of cherry blossom viewing.

The Aeon Mall Kurashiki where the event was held has a free parking lot with 4,700 spaces, and the parking fee is free, which is also a nice point.

Many people were stopping by the Courtyard Marche while shopping at Aeon Mall Kurashiki.

The Scene of the Courtyard Marche "Hanami"

There were 10 food shops and 12 miscellaneous goods and workshop shops.

I will report on the shops that caught my attention.

FRUITS STAND Oli

FRUITS STAND Oli is a cute fruit skewer shop that opened in December 2020.

They use seasonal fruits.

Due to its cute appearance, it is very popular for photo opportunities and has even been featured on television.

▼Among many menu items, I bought and tried a kiwi skewer.

It was sweeter and tastier than the commercially available kiwis.

As expected from a popular shop, customers were continuously buying from them.

Led by a young manager who just graduated from high school, they were efficiently preparing the skewers.

By the way, new products like shaved ice and "Karei Bijin" (a taiyaki version with curry inside) are planned to be released in the summer.

They seem to be particular about appearance, and it might become a popular item alongside strawberry candy!

f.b.n.Muu - Flower and Balloon Shop

When I first saw f.b.n.Muu's products, I thought, "There are flowers inside the glass," but actually, they are inside balloons.

They have a cute appearance like a snow globe.

The flowers inside the soap balloons are dried flowers or preserved flowers, and they seem to last for more than three weeks.

▼By the way, this one (on the left) is three months old.

The balloon has shrunk, but it can still be displayed as an interior decoration.

When the balloon shrinks, you can cut the balloon part with scissors and just display the flowers.

Emilia Sweets

Emilia Sweets sells baked goods as well as pudding.

The pudding is more popular than the baked goods, and there are regular customers.

The shop's mascot character is "San-chan," a beloved dog drawn by the owner.

Glass Studio Ashiato

▼"Which one should I choose?" There are voluminous glass beads that make you hesitate.

Just looking at them is exciting.

▼All the vessels are cute, and just placing them around is soothing.

Conclusion

Despite the rain, the Courtyard Marche was bustling and lively.

The charm of the Courtyard Marche is meeting shops that you wouldn't normally encounter.

It's also nice to be able to casually talk with the artists and shop owners.

I enjoyed eating delicious food and exchanging words with the shop owners.

I had a great time.

The Courtyard Marche is held regularly, so I look forward to the next one.
