【Held on June 21 (Sun)】Midorinoiti NOODLE & CHILL ~ Let's reset our mind and body with warm noodle dishes and a relaxing time.

みどりのいち

The feeling of "relief" that you experience after eating noodle dishes or while receiving relaxation, or when you see wonderful handmade works, is something that calms the heart.

An event where you can experience these all at once will be held at Patisserie Le Vert in Hiroe, Kurashiki City on June 21, 2026 (Sunday). The name of the event is "Midorinoiti NOODLE & CHILL".

  • NOODLE (ヌードル) = Noodles
  • CHILL (チル) = Meaning "to relax," "to take it easy," "to calm down"

As incorporated in the event name, it is an event themed around the above two concepts.

What is Midorinoiti NOODLE & CHILL

Midorinoiti is also written as "みどりのいち" and is a market event regularly held at Patisserie Le Vert (hereinafter referred to as "Le Vert") in Hiroe, Kurashiki City.

The name of the store, Le Vert, means "green" in French. From this, it was named "the market held at Le Vert" → "Midorinoiti".

It is characterized by being held with various themes, and this time the theme is "NOODLE & CHILL".

Interview with the organizer Yoshiharu Kataoka

I spoke with Yoshiharu Kataoka, the organizer and owner of Le Vert, about the appeal of the event.

What led to the establishment of "Midorinoiti"?

Kataoka (no honorifics)

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a time when I entrusted the operation of events to acquaintances. However, as the situation began to stabilize, a strong desire arose within me to "create a free space in my own style." Thus, I launched "Midorinoiti" from scratch.

Why did you choose the theme "NOODLE & CHILL" this time?

Kataoka

I have organized many events themed around sweets, but I felt a bit of monotony. So I thought, "Can I do something interesting from a different angle that reflects my own style (sweets)?" and that led to this time's "NOODLE & CHILL".

Previously, when I held an event themed around bread as a trial, I received a response that exceeded my expectations. "Noodle dishes are becoming increasingly popular lately, and I am sure customers will enjoy this," I was convinced, and planned an event where various noodle dishes would gather.

The vendors also resonated with my thoughts and have been very warm in their cooperation, coming up with limited menu items just for this day.

What is the highlight of this "Midorinoiti"?

Kataoka

The biggest highlight this time is "the ability to enjoy a variety of noodle dishes all in one place."
To ensure that customers can enjoy a complete experience, with the cooperation of the vendors, we have prepared a wide variety of mini-sized and small portion menus.

And after filling up, it's time for "CHILL (relaxation)." We have also enriched the offerings of sweets and drinks that are perfect after tasting delicious noodles, as well as massage and miscellaneous goods booths. Eat, relax, and satisfy both your heart and body. We will deliver such a special day.

What types of visitors have attended past events?

Kataoka

Visitors range widely from small children to elderly people.

What kind of people do you want to come?

Kataoka

In the future, I want to create themes that will delight people of all generations, and I also want to continue to challenge new projects that excite me personally.

A word for the readers, please.

Kataoka

We are preparing delicious food and relaxing booths to welcome everyone. Please come ready to enjoy and with an empty stomach!

Conclusion

Unlike large-scale market events, "Midorinoiti" is an event where you can be close to the vendors in a limited space.

Organizer Kataoka is always thinking about how to make customers happy. This sentiment is also shared by each vendor, and you can see the efforts to keep it interesting no matter how many times you visit.

To experience the atmosphere, why not visit?
