Events are held in various places on weekends. Among them, it can be difficult to decide which event to attend.
At Patisserie Le Vert in Hiroe, Kurashiki City, a market called Midori no Ichi is held regularly. Each time, a theme is set, which is a pleasant aspect for visitors as it keeps them from getting bored.
On January 18, 2026 (Sunday), a special edition called Pan to Oyatsu no Ichi will be held.
What is Midori no Ichi?

Midori no Ichi is a market event held regularly at Patisserie Le Vert in Hiroe, Kurashiki City, since May 2022.
The name Le Vert means "green" in French. This is where the name "Ichi (market) at Le Vert" → "Midori no Ichi" comes from.
It is characterized by various themes being set for each event, and recently, the following themes have been featured.
- Held on February 16, 2025 (Vol.31): "XX and Another Stomach"
- Held on May 18, 2025 (Vol.32): "Japanese and Western"
- Held on September 23, 2025 (Vol.33): "Curry and Citrus"
What is Pan to Oyatsu no Ichi?

Pan to Oyatsu no Ichi will be held for the first time as a special edition of Midori no Ichi. Why was the "special edition" planned?
The goal is to elevate the participating members. It aims to create an event where no one member wins alone, but all participating members and customers can end with smiles. In previous events, they have avoided overlapping genres among the participating members and items.
Considering various factors such as the members who regularly participate, their feelings, and the overall atmosphere of participation in Midori no Ichi, the organizer, Yoshiharu Kataoka, the owner of Le Vert, states, "Now is the right time to do it."

A Word from the Organizer

We spoke with Mr. Kataoka, the owner of Le Vert, about his enthusiasm for the event.
Kataoka
I would be happy if everyone enjoys eating bread in the morning and afternoon. Please eat a lot and be very satisfied.
A lot of "delicious" and "cute" things will gather. Enjoy the happiness of choosing from them and the luxury of being indecisive!

In Conclusion
Even though it is called "Bread and Sweets Market," it is not just about those. There are drinks to enjoy together, handmade items, and relaxing hand massages, all conveying the desire for customers to have a good time.
How about going out on January 18, 2026 (Sunday)?
