The person who agreed to be interviewed this time is Morimoto Rina, who works in general affairs at Morimoto Construction. Born in 1997, she is from Tamashima, Kurashiki City.
Mr. Morimoto was born and raised in Tamashima.
Since middle school, he had been considering employment after graduating high school, and after advancing to Tamashima Commercial High School, he joined Morimoto Construction in 2016.
About Mr. Morimoto's Job
Belonging to the General Affairs Department, Mr. Morimoto is mainly responsible for three tasks: Accounting, Human Resources, and Public Relations.
The Accounting work he has been in charge of since shortly after joining involves mainly administrative tasks such as managing daily income and expenses, and creating invoices and contracts. In his third year, he also obtained the challenging 2nd Class Construction Industry Accountant qualification.
Next, he was entrusted with Human Resources.
As a recruiter, he not only participates in joint company information sessions at universities but also handles communications with students who progress to the selection process and manages job site operations.
The recruitment site that Mr. Morimoto was involved in creating is well-organized and very easy to read. Since he was a middle school student, he thought, "I will get a job after graduating from high school," and advanced to Okayama Prefectural Tamashima Commercial High School, which had a strong image for employment.
Among the three courses offered, he chose the "Distribution and Sales Course." In his first year, he studied basic bookkeeping, and in his second year, he learned practical knowledge about store management and sales promotion.
When it was time to decide on a career path, Mr. Morimoto looked for a company based on the ease of commuting and the ability to utilize what he learned in high school, and the company he encountered among the job listings from his high school was Morimoto Construction.
During his job search, he visited three companies, but he reflects that the workplace atmosphere at Morimoto Construction was the best. From the moment he entered the company, it was filled with a warm atmosphere that was not administrative, and he could feel the difference from other companies. For Mr. Morimoto, who was a high school student at the time, having kind employees also provided a sense of security.
The impression of the good character of the employees and the workplace atmosphere that he felt during the company visit has not changed after joining.
