Free Experience with Masking Tape
At Nyochikudo, there is a free experience where you can decorate badges, fans, and tote bags using masking tape.
The reception hours for the free experience corner are from 10 AM to 5 PM.
You decide the number of participants and the materials you like, and sign up at the register. (Phone reservations are not accepted)
You can participate in the experience once a day.
On weekdays, you can decorate paper bags and fans, while on weekends and holidays, you can decorate badges, hand-held cardboard boxes, and masking tape collection boxes with masking tape.
I participated in the free experience of making badges from this selection.
Since many customers wish to participate in the free experience, there is a 10-minute time limit.

You freely stick masking tape onto a round thick paper.
The excess tape edges are neatly cut along the base paper.
If you fold the edges of the masking tape or layer multiple pieces, the badge press may not work well.
I choose a masking tape with a cat design and stick it on.
It’s quite difficult to fit it nicely on the round base paper.
The completed base paper with masking tape is placed on a round metal plate for badges, a plastic film is placed on top, and it is pressed with a badge press machine.
I was so absorbed in making it that the 10 minutes flew by.
