Cuore Kurashiki (hereafter Cuore Kurashiki) opened in July 2014.
It was originally a wedding venue.
The second and third floors are the hostel, while the basement level is the bar.

First, let me introduce the bar Cuore located in the basement.
It’s so stylish that it’s a bit nerve-wracking.
There was also this kind of art on the way up the stairs.
Each piece has a playful spirit, conveying the desire to entertain guests.

The bar is surprisingly spacious, and even though it’s in the basement, plenty of light comes in.
It has a sense of openness.
This is no surprise, as the bar has a vaulted ceiling.

It costs 2,200 yen (including tax) for one serving, and you can order from two servings.

You can only enjoy this at Cuore Kurashiki and its sister store, Cuore Makiya-cho, within Okayama Prefecture.
This dish, marinated in a spicy tomato sauce, includes crab, shrimp, mussels, corn, and potatoes, satisfying both the eyes and the palate, as well as the stomach.
There is no spiciness, making it a flavor that both adults and children can enjoy.

By the way, this crab is quite large!
The meat is substantial and pairs well with the sauce.
A generous salad topped with prosciutto, tomatoes, and bell peppers.
Additionally, it comes with soup and a baguette, making it very filling.

Cuore Kurashiki's lunch motto is "flavors you can't find at other restaurants."
Among them, the top recommendation is the "Burrito Lunch".
Authentic burritos from Mexico are indeed hard to find in Okayama and Kurashiki.
The Chicken Burrito can be enjoyed with a refreshing salad-like feel.
It wraps chicken, avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, and saffron rice made with Thai rice in a tortilla.
The Beef is made with meat that has been simmered slowly and is packed with vegetables.
With Thai rice included, it is very filling!
Even when you're full, its deliciousness makes it easy to finish.

I was specially allowed to tour one of the hostel's rooms.
The entrance to the hostel is through the door on the right side of the front.
With a large atrium and courtyard, it has an atmosphere like a village or community.
Here, it seems possible to interact with strangers, transcending gender and nationality.
Artworks are found everywhere.
They are likely to please foreign guests.

This is a maisonette type, compact yet comfortable.
Each room has a different interior.
Many guests enjoy comparing the different rooms.

Upon entering the shop, what was impressive was the abundance of greenery, making it feel very lively.
Even though it is a bar located underground, it felt like an elegant overseas open terrace.
Of course, the Handheld Seafood was surprising and moving!
