Denim Concept: All Rooms Ocean View Hostel
The author stayed here with travel-loving friends right after it opened, renting the whole place.
From the moment we arrived, there was a storm of cheers.

Interior Inspired by Denim
The interior, created with the motto "We do what we can ourselves," features denim materials throughout.
Some walls and sliding doors are made of denim fabric.
The tatami edges, cushions, zabuton (floor cushions), and slippers are also made of denim.
In the restaurant, tables, chairs, and trays from the bamboo furniture manufacturer "TEORI" in Mabi, Kurashiki City are used.
Denim is also used for the chair seats.
The flooring is said to be made from wood from Nishi-Awakura Village.
Japanese-style Rooms, Trailer Houses, and Glamping Domes
The names of the rooms are inspired by traditional Japanese colors related to denim and the location.

The Japanese-style rooms have tatami mats, allowing you to roll around and relax.
The flowers and lighting are also stylish.
Since the building has been renovated, I felt a hybrid of nostalgia and chicness.
All rooms have an ocean view, and waking up to a beautiful scenery made for a very pleasant awakening.
The bath and toilet are shared.
The shower, which is reserved by time, is not in a private room.
There are three showers in one bathroom, which is a nice point for families staying together.
Luxurious Towels and Amenities
The towels are from IKEUCHI ORGANIC, known for their philosophy and quality, and have many fans.
These fluffy towels are woven with organic cotton and wind power.
For the author, they were a long-desired item to try.
After using them, I was impressed by their comfort, which exceeded my expectations.
Sauna, SUP, and Indigo Dyeing Available
In addition to accommodation, there are enjoyable activities available.
A sauna that you can enjoy while looking at the sea.
Swimsuits and sauna hats are available for rent.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) on a quiet beach, swaying with the waves.
The sense of openness and the gentle swaying feel great!
I was kindly taught how to ride, and even I, who am not good at sports, was able to enjoy it.
An indigo dyeing experience (reservation required) where you can dye clothes and accessories using indigo, which is used to dye denim.
Clothes that have changed in mood or have become stained and unwearable can be revived.
The photo below shows a white dress that traveled around the world with its owner.
It was dyed a beautiful indigo color.

Why did a denim shop start float?
I spoke with the elder brother of the denim brothers, Yamawaki Yohei, the younger brother, Shimada Shunsuke, and Ikegami Yoshiyuki, a float staff member from the regional revitalization cooperation team.
