BAMBOO BAKERS ~ Energizing Mizushima through Bread! Aiming to be the "go-to bakery" loved by the local community for years to come.

BAMBOO BAKERS パン

Recently, there are more days when I choose bread instead of rice for meals, and the variety of bread sold in supermarkets and convenience stores has increased significantly.

There are days when I have bread for all three meals.
However, there are also days when I want to buy freshly baked bread from a bakery and savor the aroma of wheat and the taste of the ingredients.

Located in Mizushima, Kurashiki City, BAMBOO BAKERS is a bakery filled with the passion and commitment of its owner, who loves bread.

With over 70 types of bread available in the store, you can enjoy the fun of wondering, "Which one should I choose today?"

From classic breads to unique varieties, I will introduce the diverse lineup and the thoughts the owner has put into BAMBOO BAKERS.

About "BAMBOO BAKERS"

"BAMBOO BAKERS" is a bakery that opened in December 2024 in Mizushima, Kurashiki City.

It started on the site of a pharmacy that had been in operation since the time of the owner's grandfather, with the owner, his sister, and two friends who are bakers.

Every day, a variety of breads are available, attracting not only local residents but also customers from afar seeking these breads.

Types of Bread at BAMBOO BAKERS

The variety of breads available at the store is an impressive over 70 types every day.

From cream breads to savory options and hard breads, a diverse range is offered, all made by just the two bakers.

Here are some popular breads among customers.

Homemade Cream Bread

The "Homemade Cream Bread" is fluffy and soft, filled with plenty of homemade cream.

The cream is subtly sweet, making it hard to stop eating. With a gentle texture and satisfying volume, it is no wonder this item is popular in the store.

Hojicha Black Beans

The "Hojicha Black Beans" features a firm-textured dough with a fragrant hojicha flavor.

Inside the bread, there are sweet black beans, and the flavor of the ingredients expands with each bite. It is delicious on its own, but I find it even tastier with a bit of butter for a salty touch.

This bread has a subdued sweetness and a calming flavor.

Morning Boiled Homemade Egg Sandwich

The "Morning Boiled Homemade Egg Sandwich" features a fluffy, additive-free koppe bread made with 100% Hokkaido wheat called Haru yo Koi, filled generously with a filling made from morning-boiled eggs. It is a hearty savory bread.

As it is a popular item, it sometimes sells out by early afternoon.

Baguette

The "Baguette" has a crispy exterior and a chewy interior, providing a substantial bite.

It is delicious as a sandwich, but it is also recommended to enjoy it simply with butter or olive oil.

BAMBOO BAKERS offers a variety of breads every day.

I spoke with the owner, Ishimaru Yukiko, about the background of this popular bakery that has not seen a decline in customers since its opening.
