“COFFEE HOUSE Gojitoma” has been operating in Mabi for over 45 years.
On its premises, there is a food truck that offers bento and sandwiches four days a week.
The shop is named GOJITOMA-ISM.
It is run by Takamoto Karei, the daughter of the Takamoto couple who operate Gojitoma.
The bento from GOJITOMA-ISM features colorful side dishes that catch the eye when the lid is opened.
It is a hearty bento that allows you to enjoy a variety of flavors in one.
We covered GOJITOMA-ISM, which was established to carry on the spirit of Gojitoma.
About GOJITOMA-ISM
GOJITOMA-ISM opened on January 9, 2024.
The owner, Takamoto, worked as a nutritionist at a nursery school after graduating from junior college.
She resigned due to health issues but wanted to continue working in the food industry. Takamoto then focused on the unused food truck from Gojitoma.

The food truck was used after Gojitoma was affected by the heavy rain in July 2018, until the shop was rebuilt. After the reconstruction, they began operating using the food truck, which had only been used once a year.
GOJITOMA-ISM Menu

At GOJITOMA-ISM, you can choose from bento, sandwiches, and onigiri.
The bento and sandwiches are packed with ingredients, featuring seasonal vegetables as the main attraction.
Side Dishes Full of Vegetables
The menu at GOJITOMA-ISM changes weekly, and during the interview, the following items were available.

I tried the bento and sandwiches.
When I opened the bento, I was captivated by the colorful side dishes. At GOJITOMA-ISM, it is characteristic that rice is placed under a variety of side dishes.

Pork Tenderloin Miso Katsu features two pieces of katsu topped with a sweet miso sauce, making it a sweet and savory dish that pairs well with rice.

The Sweet Vinegar Pickled Red Daikon has a gentle sweetness and refreshing acidity that cleanses the palate.

Cabbage and Nanohana with Sesame Dressing is a side dish made with seasonal nanohana, and the pleasant aroma of sesame stimulates the appetite.

Additionally, there are potatoes mixed with oyster sauce and mayonnaise, and spicy green onions. The portions are generous, and each side dish has a different flavor, so I was able to enjoy it without getting bored until the end.

The Chicken Curry-flavored Sandwich is packed with chicken seasoned with curry, and the chopped nanohana adds a pleasant bitterness as an accent.

Onigiri is also popular.

During her time at the nursery, Takamoto was responsible for cooking for groups of 100 people. At the nursery, she always devised ways to make vegetables easier for children who disliked them to eat.
At GOJITOMA-ISM, she aims to make vegetables easy to eat for everyone, from children to adults.
Handmade Baked Goods

Takamoto hopes to offer something sweet after the bento, so baked goods are occasionally available at the shop.
The baked goods menu includes cookies, chunk cookies, muffins, snowballs, and scones.
We spoke with Takamoto, who provides vegetable-packed bento in Mabi, having taken over the food truck.
