A balanced diet is important.
While I understand that, it is difficult to think about a meal that considers nutritional balance every day.

The "Tamashima Lunch Stand" located in Tamashima, Kurashiki City, offers nutritious lunches created by a registered dietitian.

I would like to introduce the Tamashima Lunch Stand, which is perfect for those who want to take care of themselves through meals.

What is the "Tamashima Lunch Stand"?

The "Tamashima Lunch Stand" is located a 4-minute walk from Shin-Kurashiki Station in Kurashiki City.

Minami Eiraku, who established the store, is also a registered dietitian and provides lunches that take care of the body using seasonal ingredients.

The Tamashima Lunch Stand is open only during lunch time.
In the evening, the same location operates "Tamashima Bar BRUNO."

When you go to the store, it is easy to find by looking for the sign of Tamashima Bar BRUNO.

There is parking in front of the store and in the area to the west, so you can come by car.

It is great that you can access it by train or car.

Inside the store

On the first floor, there is one table for two and one table for four, along with counter seats.

Having counter seats makes it easy to go alone.

On the second floor, there are five tables for four people. You can see trains running from the window.

The second floor has more space, making it easier to use with family or friends. There are also children's chairs available, and strollers can be brought in. However, please be careful as the stairs to the second floor are a bit narrow.

Reservations for seats can be made via the store's Instagram DM or by phone.

Menu introduction

Next, I will introduce the menu of the Tamashima Lunch Stand.

There are weekly lunch specials, salad lunches, and roast beef bowls, and just looking at the menu makes my stomach growl.

In addition to the lunch menu, there were also a la carte options available.

Recommended by the store! Weekly supplement lunch

The top recommendation is the weekly menu "Supplement Lunch."
Minami Eiraku, who has a registered dietitian qualification, creates the menu according to the season and physical condition.

It comes with rice, appetizers, and a one-plate side dish, and the menu changes every Wednesday.

The "Weekly Supplement Lunch" is so popular that there are people who come to eat it every week.

The week I ate, it was "New Onion Hamburger."
Under the new onions, the hamburger was hidden, making it very satisfying to eat.

The plate around the hamburger and the appetizer plate are filled with plenty of vegetables. I enjoyed it while wondering, "What should I eat next?"

At the Tamashima Lunch Stand, they source vegetables directly from farmers because they want customers to eat good vegetables.

Receiving the necessary nutrients for the season with fresh vegetables…

It truly is a lunch full of health benefits.

For those who want to eat sweets! Dessert set

Lunch can also be a set menu.
Since it was a good opportunity, I wanted to eat something sweet, so I ordered the Dessert Set.

With the dessert set, you can choose a drink and a dessert from the in-store blackboard menu.

During the interview, I had a tiramisu made with plenty of seasonal strawberries. The glass container was refreshing and filled with strawberries.

The strawberries are from "Ichigo-ya ROSSO," and the cheese is from Kurashiki Cheese Factory Harupalu.

Even though I had a hearty lunch, I finished it all in no time.

After the meal, I enjoyed coffee and dessert, making for a very satisfying lunch. The supplement lunch, which also considers nutrition, is truly perfect for a reward lunch. You can feel the owner's commitment to meals through the ingredients and menu.

I interviewed the owner, Minami Eiraku, about what kind of thoughts he has in running the store.
